Better Hearing Centers Fellowship Fund

This fellowship is open to graduate students enrolled in the Audiology Doctoral Program in the College of Health Professions. This scholarship fund was created by a generous donation from a local private practice, in honor of an audiology graduate student who was legally blind and who completed a clinical rotation with them. This student completed the audiology program through hard work and working with professors and clinical supervisors to find creative ways to access the information she needed to learn. The donors asked that the scholarship committee take into special consideration any student who has overcome a personal disability and succeeded in graduate studies. In the spirit of this request, the scholarship committee considers student applications that describe the ability to succeed, despite encountering personal challenges.
