Christopher Neil Schmidt Education Scholarship

The College of Education Scholarship Conditional Application must be completed to be eligible for this scholarship.

This scholarship is open College of Education students pursuing a teaching certification. All applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Full-time undergraduate student;
• Entering their junior or senior year of study during the term the award is applied;
• Enrolled in a College of Education degree program leading to teaching certification;
• 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher; and
• Demonstrated financial need as defined by the Financial Aid Office; with
• Special consideration given to students who are residents of Maryland.
