Jamie Parker Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Please note this scholarship will be applied to the students’ fall 2026/spring 2027 term. If you plan to graduate before fall 2026, please do not apply.

This scholarship is open to Communication Studies AND Electronic Media and Film majors. All recipients must meet the following requirements:

• Communication Studies or Electronic Media and Film major;
• Full-time sophomores, juniors and/or seniors;
• Possess a GPA of at least 2.25;
• Demonstrate involvement in community service activities.
• Preference is to be given to candidates whose community service activities benefit children.
• Preference will also be given to Maryland State residents.
• Financial need may be considered.

The award is renewable for up to two years. In order to apply, applicants must provide a cover letter, resume, and essay describing the extent of their community service.
