Looking for funding to support an unpaid summer internship?
Apply for the $1,000 Hurte Family Student Engagement Endowed Scholarship. This award is aimed at encouraging students with financial need to pursue low- and unpaid internships to support their educational experience.

Application opens: December 1
Application closes: March 31
Award decision: April 15 (Award is contingent upon securing Secured summer 2026 low- or unpaid internship)
Internship must be secured by March 31

Qualifications:

  • Full-time undergraduate student
  • 2.5 cumulative GPA
  • Demonstrated financial need
  • Preference: students who work to support their education
