Allan Starkey Endowed Scholarship in Secondary Education

The College of Education Scholarship Conditional Application must be completed to be eligible for this scholarship.

This scholarship is open to education majors who meet the following requirements:

• Good academic standing;
• Full-time status;
• Undergraduate students:
• Junior or senior standing;
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 based on Towson University courses (or achieved in a completed undergraduate program, if a graduate student). Students transferring from a two-year institution or another four-year college are eligible to apply, provided that their minimum cumulative GPA from the transfer institution(s) is 3.0.

Undergraduate students:
Declared major in any secondary school subject plus formal admission to the concentration in secondary education OR formal admission to the major in middle school education.
Graduate students:
Formal admission to the M.A.T. or other graduate program leading to initial certification in secondary education.
