Dr. Charles E. Maloy III Endowed Scholarship in Education

The College of Education Scholarship Conditional Application must be completed to be eligible for this scholarship.

This scholarship is open to students enrolled in the College of Education. All applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Senior class standing;
• Enrolled in an undergraduate teacher education program (during the scholarship award period);
• Minimum overall cumulative GPA (based on TU courses) of 3.0;
• Demonstrated financial need as defined by the Financial Aid Office;
• Demonstrated competency in the classroom and exceptional promise as a future educator who will give him/herself to the community and to others, as documented by a track record of community involvement and at least one letter of recommendation from a mentor who has observed the candidate in a supervised classroom setting.
