H.E.R. Legacy Scholarship

This annual scholarship is intended to provide an opportunity for students who previously struggled with addiction, are in recovery, or whose lives have been changed by a friend or family member’s addiction to achieve educational goals at Towson University. All applicants meet the following criteria:

• Full or part-time undergraduate student;
• 2.0 cumulative GPA or higher; and
• Submission of a 300-400 word essay explaining the impact of addiction on the life of the applicant, what the applicant has learned about strength and resiliency, and how the funds will benefit the applicant’s overall educational and professional goals.

Preference given to demonstrated financial need as defined by the Financial Aid Office.
