Dr. Kent B. Barnes Geography Paper Competition

This award is open to full-time undergraduate or full- part-time graduate students majoring in Geography with a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher.

The award requires a research paper or thesis presenting the results of an innovative research project on one or more of the following topics: local participation in natural resource and environmental management, hazard mitigation, urban revitalization, environmental justice and/or sustainable development.
