Reynaldo Reyes Piano Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded each year to a TU student majoring in music with a concentration in classical piano (BM, BS, BSMusEd, MM). The scholarship winner will receive an award to be credited towards tuition. Only one winner will be chosen. Criteria for the award are:
- Contribution to the Music Department;
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher;
- Demonstrated musical, technical, and performing expertise in at least two contrasting styles.

Reynaldo Reyes Scholarship Competition Rules
- Eligible students must list their repertory selections from at least two different style periods for a 15 minute live audition.
- Your formatted program (using a Department template) must also include the timings of your pieces. Failure to include timing of musical works will result in disqualification.
- The judges may also request a portion of any selections and may ask the contestant to end a piece early or start a work in the middle.
- All students selected to compete must have published scores of all music present at the audition. Failure to have these scores will result in disqualification from the competition. Published scores must be clearly marked as to where the work is found within a larger collection.
