Joan Durham King Travel Abroad Scholarship

This scholarship is for the 2023/2024 academic year.
This scholarship is open to students traveling abroad and admitted international students, who demonstrate a commitment to diversity and equity. All applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Full-time undergraduate in their Sophomore or Junior year in Academic Year 2023/2024;
  • Participating in a TU Study Abroad Program or enrolled at TU on a F1 visa as an international student;
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher; and
  • Submit the required essay.

Preference given to members of the Students Achieve Goals through Education (SAGE) program, a participant of Black Student Union, or a fraternity or sorority member within the National Pan-Hellenic Council.

    Are you committed to diversity and/or equity? Explain any meaningful engagement or participation in social, civic, and/or professional organizations which advance equity and diversity.
