Dr. Jack D. Osman Health Education Award

This award is open students in the department of Health Sciences who wish to further develop research and/or skills in a mentoring relationship with an assigned faculty member while exploring topics relevant to public health, school and community health and/or well-being. All applicants are required to meet the following:

  • Full-time undergraduate students in the department of Health Sciences;
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher;
  • Demonstrated financial need as defined by the Financial Aid Office; and
  • Expressed interest in health education and willingness to participate in a faculty mentored undergraduate experience as outlined in a short personal statement describing their research interests and the impact this award will have on their career trajectory.
