Gloria Agnes Scott Education Scholarship

This scholarship provides awards to students pursuing a degree at Towson University that will lead to a career as a teacher who are in good academic standing. All recipients must meet the following requirements:

• Unmet financial need;
• Good academic standing;
• Full-time status;
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0;
• Graduation from a Maryland public high school;
• Undergraduate students must be of junior or senior standing with formal admission to any educated-related major or a declared major in any secondary school subject plus formal admission to initial certification in education.
• Graduate students must have formal admission to the M.A.T. or other graduate program leading to initial certification in education.
• Students transferring from a two-year institution or another four-year college to complete their junior or senior years are also eligible to apply provided their minimum cumulative GPA from the transfer institution is 3.0.
