Business and Professional Women's Foundation of Maryland Scholarship

This scholarship is open to students pursing a first-time bachelor’s degree with academic majors in the field of STEM, Education and/or Business and Finance. All applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Full-time undergraduate sophomore, junior, or senior students;
• Pursing a first-time bachelor’s degree with academic majors in the field of STEM, Education and/or Business and Finance;
• Maryland resident;
• 3.0 cumulative G.P.A. or higher;
• Demonstrated financial need as defined by the Financial Aid Office; and
• Submission of an essay of no more than 400 words in response to the following prompt: “Please describe how your academic and professional goals reflect a commitment to supporting opportunities for women in the workplace, and how you hope to make a meaningful impact.” Essays must not be AI generated.
• With preference given to providing at least one annual award to a student majoring in Elementary Education.
